- For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
When we are baptised into Christ, our sinful self dies with Him, just as all the wicked that lived in Noah's day died submerged in the water.
And we live because of Jesus.
Adam put on garments of skin prepared by God, after Adam fell and deserved to die.
We put on Jesus Christ sent by God to die on the cross for us, so that we who deserve to die may live by believing in Him.
