- So then, the law was our tutor until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith.
The law teaches us that we are sinners and that we need someone to save us.
The law only teaches us that we are inadequate. Jesus justifies us by our faith in Him.
The law condemns us. Jesus saves us.
Through the law, we are in despair. Through Jesus, we are full of hope.
Once we realise that the law has no power to save us, we hold onto the only person who saves us. Jesus.
We cling to Him. We hold onto Him. That is faith.
